It also has a large under-seat storage space and a shoulder carry strap which makes it easier to lug around when not pushing it. The canopy adjustment can be noisy and could wake children who are asleep.
1. Contours Itsy
The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that has a variety of features for its size. The back basket under the seat has a spring loaded mechanism, so you can push the basket down to place a backpack or diaper bag and then it will pop up to secure its contents. It comes with a child's accessory holder as well as an adjustable reclining seat pad. This is more than you would get on a standard lightweight stroller.
It also has a canopy that can be closed and opened to achieve the level of sun protection you desire. The handlebars are height-adjustable to allow for a comfortable fit four different positions. However, we weren't impressed with the quality of its ride over rough surfaces. We felt the suspension and wheels didn't perform a great job of absorbing shocks and bumps.
It's a great stroller for travel because it comes in a box that is fully assembled and requires only a few steps to make it in use. The seat can be moved forward and back to adjust the recline. It's pretty flat. Two buttons on the frame allow it to fold and unfold. It also fits into a very convenient carrying bag when not in use. It's actually one of the smallest strollers that we've tested and can meet the requirements of many airlines for gate-checking and cabin storage, on airplanes. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus
This is a great option for those looking for a stroller that is light and easy to carry. It comes with everything parents would want in a stroller. This includes all-terrain wheels and front suspension for an easy ride. It is also incredibly lightweight, at less than 12 pounds. It has a simple one-hand and self-standing fold. It has two cup holders on each tray for parents and children.
Its design isn't high, and it did not perform well in our maneuverability test. It also has a flexible frame that makes pushing it over rough surfaces seem like lifting a huge weight. This may be okay when you use the stroller on paved sidewalks, but for most people, it's likely to not be comfortable.
The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy with a peek-aboo window to provide additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds and features the 5-point safety restraint system. This is an excellent feature for older toddlers who have outgrown their infant car seats.
It has a one-step and compact folding mechanism and can be collapsed with practically only a click of a button. It also comes with a brake that can be operated by a foot, which is simple and easy to adjust and release.
The handle is lower than most of the strollers we have examined, and some parents might feel uncomfortable using it for long periods of time. The handle locks in position when it's opened. This is a fantastic feature to use the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.
3. Munchkin Sparrow
The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents who are on the move. The compact stroller is easy to fold up and down, and fits easily in overhead compartments on planes as well as in trunks at the amusement park (no worries about parking charges). It comes with a carrying bag which zips up for easy storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter from birth and provides good sun protection with its canopy. The only issue is that some parents consider the design to be uninspiring and cheap.
The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a little more expensive than other single strollers that are lightweight, but it was designed specifically for luxurious travel and urban living. It is one of the easiest strollers to fold and comes with a convenient carry case. It's got plenty of storage space as well as a cupholder. The seat reclines to almost flat for both the child and adult. This is the only stroller in our list that has an adapter for car seats to allow it to be used with babies. Some short parents may not appreciate the handlebar that does not adjust.
The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it has numerous amazing features that help kids travel more easily. The large seat reclines to a pretty flat position, and it comes with additional padding to make those naps on the plane last longer. The canopy extends to provide plenty of sun coverage, and the parent tray offers a good amount of storage. It also comes with a spring-loaded handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. The footrest, however, appears to be prone to damage from baggage handlers.
4. Uppababy Minu V2
Uppababy Minu V2 is a stylish stroller with high-end design and quality. Its compact size allows it to easily navigate narrow streets and tight spaces, but its sturdy construction means it can handle rough terrain without compromising your child's comfort. Front and rear spring-action suspension creates a noticeably more comfortable ride for both of you, and its sturdy materials ensure it will hold up to every day wear and tear without losing its shape. single strollers that connect can also be enlarged to accommodate other accessories like a bassinet and infant car seat.
In our testing in our tests, the Minu was easy to maneuver and fold, even with a baby in its hand. Its squat fold, which opens into three sections is among the most simple we tried. This makes it possible to fit easily in overhead compartments in planes and public transport. It also features a color-coded single-action brake that is easy to use.
The seat reclines in multiple positions, and the leg rest can be adjusted with one hand, making it easy to determine your child's ideal position. The UPF 50+ hood slid down quite a bit and was ideal to shield Cora's eyes from the sun (though not as low as some other strollers). The medium-sized mesh window is magnetically attached to the canopy and closes without using noisy Velcro.

It can also be stowed in the trunk of your vehicle, and it comes with a storage container and access to the Uppababy TravelSafe program which gives two years to the manufacturer's warranty and provides replacements for any items damaged during travel.
5. Joovy Aire
Joovy is an established brand that makes several strollers. This lightweight model is a good option for parents who are looking for a sturdy stroller that can transport children around, has plenty of storage, is fairly simple to use and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. It's not ideal if you want an automobile seat-compatible model or a double stroller, though. It isn't compatible with infant car seats. Your babies should be able to sit upright on their backs before you can use it.
This stroller is packed with features and comes at a very affordable price. It scored higher on our maneuverability test than other models with similar specifications. It's also a great option for smooth surfaces. It also has a nice canopy and plenty of storage including a large tray for parents. The handlebar is smaller than the average, and the front wheel suspension is a bit stiffer, but it is still comfortable for adults.
If you have twins or two kids of different ages, you might discover that a stroller with a side-byside feature is the best way to move them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which has a variety of features and a small footprint that fits into places that other side-byside alternatives can't.
It comes with reclining seats, a large canopy with an opening window that can be seen from afar and lots of storage. It's a bit heavier than other side-bysides however it has a decent weight capacity and can handle most children up to 50 pounds. You can also add a bassinet on the front of the stroller for infants.
The Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller offers an extravagant version of the stroller. It comes with the same great features as this model and can be fitted with a bassinet that allows you to take your baby home from the hospital with fashion.
